Med Help Dnipro visited a stabilization unit located 15-20 kilometers from the front line. Wounded soldiers are brought here for medical care before being sent to a hospital for further treatment.
The chief surgeon says that they urgently need a mobile X-Ray:
"So that we could better assess the damage: presence of fragments, presence of bullet wounds, also location of fragments, damages in chest cavity and lung injuries".
The total cost of the device is ~ $32,000.

The Med Help Dnipro team received the portable X-ray machine for free thanks to our partner foundation. We are grateful to our colleagues for their support and assistance in providing the medical unit with the necessary equipment. This device will help to conduct X-ray examinations in the field to provide better diagnostics for wounded soldiers and civilians in the combat zone in eastern Ukraine.
All the funds raised will be used for new projects we are already working on.
