We've seen firsthand how the enemy's FPV drones can pose a real menace on the battlefield. That's why we’ve started up with a project to bring more Electronic Warfare (EW) protection to the front lines.
In our pilot project, we've successfully equipped 19 medevac vehicles with portable EW devices. These devices are specially designed to jam enemy drone signals, providing a much-needed layer of protection for our forces in the field.
We tested the device on a car and fly the drone to see how it works and to observe it blocking the signal. A drone loses its signal 200-300 meters away from a vehicle that's got the EW device on board.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Haarlem4Ukraine for the generous contribution of 20 000 € towards the realisation of this project.
The deployment of the first 19 EW devices marks the beginning of a continuous initiative of Med Help Dnipro aimed at mitigating the threat posed by enemy FPV drones and enhancing the safety of medical evacuation frontline vehicles.
We currently have live fundraising of 30,000 $. Please find more details here: Electronic Warfare protection against FPV drones
